Conscious Breath for Life

Breath awareness aids health fitness. Your breathing, along with water intake, are our two basic essentials for a healthy lifestyle. Conscious breathing brings oxygen to the body, dispels emotional anxiety along with physical and mental discomforts. Conscious breath work is the awareness of a constant flow of energy through and around the body. Just taking one minute here, one minute there can add sparkle to your eyes and skin. Just an overall great feeling for your whole being. Take time while sitting at your desk, computer, driving, sitting in traffic. Think about your breath before taking your meals. This small awareness will allow your food to better Digest. Proper breathing metabolizes the food faster so that food processes through the body for faster weight loss.

Take a conscious minute to think about your breathing. Here is a simple exercise for breath work. Inhale through the nose with mouth closed for a count of 1 through 7. 7 being the highest for oxygen intake. Think of the breath going up into the brain area through the head, eyes, neck, etc. Then hold the breath count from 1 through 7 (again 7 being the highest of holding the oxygen in the body). Or whatever number you used for the inhale, use for the holding of the breath. Than slowly exhale, release through the month, to the count of 1 through 7. Inhale and exhale at your own pace. Feel the rhythm of your lungs and abdominal area opening. If only counting to 3 works for you, do three. Tomorrow do a four count. Allow the breath to travel to your diaphragm or stomach area. The more clean breath in this area will soften various physical stress discomforts such as stomach problems. Migraines. Headaches, achy muscles, general lethargy. Skin will look and feel more youthful. Lungs and soft tissue of the body will start to relax and you will feel better than ever before. As a matter of fact all the systems of the body will feel and work at a healthier state.

Do this a couple of times a day. You will notice renewed energy, clearer thinking and a new glow about your head and face along with a brighter aura. Your chakras will start to open. Your posture and body language will feel more youthful. After awhile this breathing will come more naturally. We all forget to breathe in our day to day busy routines.

Breathe; take time during the day for conscious thoughts of breathing. You will notice the difference right away. You will also be smiling with a bigger smile.
